A professional singer for over 45 years, Yvonne has taught both private and group voice performance classes since 1996.  Nicknamed, "THE VOICE," her vocal repertoire encompasses everything from jazz, blues, rock-n-roll, classical arias, country western to musical theatre.  In addition to public speaking engagements, she is also recognized for her fundraising efforts - MC/writing/directing/producing many musical events.  Yvonne has studied ballet, jazz, latin and modern dance.  With a flair for character voices, she has provided vocal acrobatics for many tv and radio commercial voice-overs.

 

As Penelope, in ULYSSES THE GREEK SUITE, she performed opposite Ted Neeley (role of JESUS, in the film, Jesus Christ Superstar) on the 20th Century Fox Recording, touring and promoting the release throughout the nation and network television.  Recipient of many awards and recognitions, Yvonne has performed the female lead (Hawaii's 7-time Po'okela Award winner - 'Female Lead in a Musical')  in countless musical theater productions, some of which include:

Yvonne has performed with symphonies and big bands throughout Hawaii and the west coast.... opening for many celebrity artists and supporting a myriad of fundraising efforts.  She has often produced, directed and/or performed for the Hawaii Chapter of the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball - the most elegant and successful fundraising event in all of Hawaii.  Most recently, Yvonne was the featured entertainer at a political fundraiser in Portland, Oregon. where she was the featured performer at the Volunteers Of America, 2016 DePreist Award For Exellence Gala. In addition to her masterful vocal performances, she is often asked to MC events or produce elaborate musical experiences.
