Performance/Professional Biography

A child prodigy, Yvonne has taught both private and group voice performance classes for over 25 years. Many of her students have realized their performance goals - from starring on Broadway and in cinema, to reaching the finals of THE VOICE and AMERICAN IDOL.

 

Her vocal repertoire encompasses everything from jazz, blues, rock-n-roll, classical arias, country western to musical theatre.  In addition to public speaking engagements, she is also recognized for her fundraising efforts - MC/writing/directing/producing many musical events.  Yvonne has also studied ballet, jazz, latin and modern dance.  With a flair for character voices, she has provided vocal acrobatics for many local television and radio commercial voice-overs. 

   

A resident of Hawaii for over 40 years, Yvonne has performed with symphonies, big bands, combos and recognizable solo musicians throughout the Hawaiian Islands and the west coast. She has performed for numerous and prestigious fundraising events, including the American Heart Association’s HEART BALL, and VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA. 

 

As Penelope, in ULYSSES THE GREEK SUITE, Yvonne  performed opposite Ted Neeley (JCSS) on the 20th Century Fox Recording, touring and promoting the release throughout the nation.  Recipient of many local awards and recognitions, she has performed the female lead in countless musical theatre productions, some of which include:
